‘Stories on Finding Home’ collaborative book accompanied the exhibition ‘An Ordinary Eden’ at Street Level Photoworks in 2023. Over the 4 years of the work, everyone Margaret Mitchell photographed was asked if they wanted to contribute creatively to the project which Mitchell then collated into a book to raise funds for Shelter Scotland hardship fund.

I will be giving a talk on An Ordinary Eden at Stirling Photography Festival on the 25th August 2023 at 12.30 at the Barracks Conference Centre, Stirling. I’ll talk about the process of making the work, from idea through to exhibition, and cover topics including ethics and responsibility alongside the themes that arose through the
